I already heard some rumors last time that VW and Porsche would like to join an F1 in the near future, but bot of them denied the possibility. The reason was that they think the cost is just too high, lets say around USD 300 Millions per year. Its just wasting money they said... But wait, there is another reason, they 'said' that Mr. Mosley's sex scandal really hurts the sporting world and it would not be particularly savory to join now.
I just wonder, maybe the second reason is more appropriate ! than the first one, because in that sex movie Mr. Mosley spoke an English with a blur German's accent (Nazi style), that perhaps make the Germans feel so sick of it.
On the other hand, Mr. Mosley refused to step down this year, he will fight like a log :-) ups, sorry :_) he said he only resign when he thinks the time has come and it will be (probably) in 2009. OK, take your time sir...
