Another 'Tour de Lance'?

American cyclist Lance Armstrong will come out of retirement and bid for an eighth Tour de France title. Thats according to a report on the VeloNews website today. Armstrong, who will turn 37 on September 18, is poised to join the Astana team and compete in five road races, according to a report that cited "sources familiar with the developing situation". The Tour de France has been hit regularly by drug scandal, and many feel that it requires a cyclist with 'film-star' appeal to draw the interest back for the race. Lance Armstrong could be that man, and his attempts to get back the glory days, should this story not be 'smoke and mirrors', is sure to result in compulsive viewing.
